Symbio

Organisation Introduction

Symbio develops and industrializes hydrogen-electric fuel cell systems to power mobility and stationary applications. Founded in 2010, the group operates in Europe from its Saint-Fons (France) Gigafactory, the largest hydrogen fuel cell plant on the continent, and in North America from its Temecula (California, USA) facility. Symbio is a joint venture between Forvia and Michelin.

Why UPeM?

Better understand the emissions of PFAS for the product during use, and show that hydrogen technology can be safely deployed without emitting high levels of PFAS.

Involvement in UPeM?

As producer of the Fuel Cell and provider for the end user, Symbio will test the protocol developed by other partners and provide samples of water and gas from a defined use case.
